Introduction

Let me start off by saying, brand is NOT ACTUALLY OP. He's super squishy so he can be targeted and melted off in team fights before he can get a chance to cast. But he's one of the best mid's in the game because of his excellent ability to harass and farm at the same time. Also he does TONS OF BURST DAMAGE which is always fun. =D

Pros / Cons

Pros

HIS POWER LEVEL IS OVER 9000, lol. but no seriously he does a lot of burst damage.
His stun is really nice for chasing as well as getting away from a pursuing champ.

Con

Fairly squishy, if not built correctly ;D

Runes

Items

Simple start-off, boots and 3 health potions. Dorans is really good on Brand because of early damage/hp/mp5 it gives. Then depending on what you're laning against, if they have a strong burst champ and a strong jungler, i would recommend getting 3 Doran's rings instead of 2 for survivability. With the magic pen runes+sorc boots, you'll be really strong early on. After that always go into rabaddons for damage. There's a couple ways to go from here, go into rylai's next for more survivability/slows, go into void staff next if they have MR. Then finish everything off with hextech/will of the ancients for funzies.
