Jax Build and Guide.
1. When all the items have been brought, his Empowered Leapstrike is EPIC.
2. His ultimate is also a passive.
3. His ultimate can increase his armor and magic resist by around 30-60
1. His attack speed is slow to start.
2. He needs movement speed, because he can't get kills without it.
3. I can't think of anything else!
Summoners Spells: Exhaust and Ghost
Build: Boots of speed --> Berserkers Greaves --> Blasting Wand --> Guinusoos rageblade --> Bloodthurster --> Infinity Edge --> Thornmail or sunfire cape (depending on armor or magic resist) --> Black cleaver.
When you summon, buy boots of speed and run down any lane. Jax is good in any lane, but if you want kills go down mid. Unlock Leap Strike first, then Empower. Dont attack champions until you have Empower AND Leap Strike. The only advice I can give when attacking champions is, you need to use your initiative. Don't initionate the attack unless you know that you get out if things go pear shaped. Ensure that you ALWAYS initionate with an Empowered Leap Strike, because Empower increases your attack damage by a lot, and it is still active for about 5 seconds when you are attacking using meleé. If your are BELOW level 6 Empowered Leapstrike is all you can really do, unless you go for the kill, when all you can do is attack like mad. If you are ABOVE level 6 and you have the Rageblade, try to get all of the stacks before you initionate, because it helps soo much. Rageblades stacks improve attack speed, and the ultimate stacks improves attack damage, and the passive lets you attack twice on the third strike. Trust me... It helps.
Now you have Rageblade, Berserkers Greaves, and Bloodthurster. Once you have full stacks on the bloodthurster, now you can really start attacking with confidence. Tips: If you are against squishy slow mages' (i.e Fiddle, ryze ect.) your Empowered Leapstrike does ALOT OF DAMAGE. I was in a game of summoners rift, i have all of the build above, and I Empowered Leapstriked Fiddlesticks and killed him instantly. 1400 damage in 2 spells... Epic. Obviously he had no armor at all, but you can see how epic it is. Empowered Leapstrike to start, and if they attack back use Exhaust to drain him of attack speed and damage and movement speed. Attack him like mad, and in about 8 seconds flat, you would have killed him.
When you have all of your items, now is when Jax really shines. Empowered Leapstrike to start (again:D) and attack. Hopefully you won't need to use exhaust, unless they have epic movement speed, and is running away. If you are loosing the battle, (which is unlikely, but can happen) use your ultimate and attack until you have about 300 health, use exhaust on the enemy, and ghost away. Hopefully a ally will get the kill and you get the assist, or you can recall and nothing can go wrong. If all goes well, you WILL get the kill. You are 100% guaranteed a kill against other meleé champions, because thornmail gives you 100 armor, and deals 30% of the damage they deal to you back at them, so the more damage they do to you, the more damage you do to them, which helps.
Attacking turrets is easy. Use Empower and hit the turret until it dies. With full items, it will take about 5-12 hits depending on what turret it is e.g. Inhibitor turret, nexus turret, outer turret ect.
Enjoy and Play Safe :D
