Jax is a dodging nuke machine. He wrecks, make sure you get the runes, items, masteries, etc. that i list and you will do great with jax. Start out at 1 with his jump then at level 2 do a empower jump combo when ever its up on your enemy and its the best harras probably in this game. When your in combat make sure to spam your e key for the stuns i cant tell you how important that is and if you want to start a fight make sure counter strike is up first.

Magic pen- increases the damage for your skills i think this is good because i am a tad heavier on ap in this build. Armor pen is a fine substitute though.

Seals- dodge because of the synergy with counterstrike he can stun people in fights. This makes jax himself. If you get anything else here you play him wrong.

Glyphs- You decide i like the ap but attack speed is very viable. I take ap because i think the damage is helpfull for early game harrasment. And i think the rageblade is enough attack speed

Quints- You should take dodge. But other choices are Movement Speed, And ap works. These are all good choices but Dodge is perfect.

I take 21 in the offense tree for the spell pen, attack speed, and AP. But i also take improved attack damage, critical strike etc. Taking the 9 in Defense is a extremely good choice, It gives you some armor and 2% dodge chance and the faster movement after dodging. This is important on jax because every percent on dodge matters.

I take the dorans ring first Because of the health mana regen and ap for the start its really helpfull. The dodge boots are really good on jax its a must have. The next item i get is the hextech revolver. The spellvamp is Amazing on jax and the 3rd hit with his ult is really good with it. After the revolver pick up the blasting wand then the pick axe. After that buy your guinsoos. Guinsoos is Devastating on jax its another must have on him because the ults passive combined with guinsoos passive gives so much attack speed and the 3rd hits hit like a truck. After guinsoos go ahead and get BilgeWater Cutlass And then get your hextech. Start your sheen off and then get a blasting wand to put into a lich bane. Your gonna get focused now so get your Chain vest cloth armor and Null-Magic Mantle and buy a Gaurdian Angel. Then SELL your dorans ring and buy a bf sword and vamp scepter for your bloodthirster. The game usualy ends after the lich bane though.

The one i displayed is for if you are playing offensively if you are laning verses attack damage you want to take counter strike over empower though. The displayed sequence shows if you are doing good and not getting pushed. Make sure you harras it is very important.

I like to take exhaust flash.

Exhaust- to Secure a kill But you can use ignite too.

Flash- Must use to escape and run.

Ignite- You can use to finish a kill. This can be used as a substitute to the exhaust.

Rally- No.

Clairvoyance- Unneeded get a support to use it.

Revive- you are not trolling

Fortify- Its more usefull to take the exhaust ignite or flash for your own sake this should be used only on tanks.

Clarity- You should be fine on mana.

Cleanse- You should take flash instead.

Teleport- unneeded

Smite- Not a jungler. Dont play jungle jax it isnt very good.

Heal- play smartly dont use this nonsence mc ruccus

Early game with jax its all about trying to get first blood harrasing and trying to farm as much as you can. Mid game still try to farm and rush your items. When you get the revolver try to kill people and at level 6 farming gets easier. When you get the guinsoos you need kills. It is rediculous how much damage jax can do with his jump combo mid to late game. So late game you should be ripping peoples facing off smackin people with ur pole all day and go ahead and solo baron cuz your jax the blind monk. Jax can solo baron after lichbane at level 18 EASILY.

I love jax so i play him in 5v5's and 3v3's. He definately wrecks face in both of them but its the rumor that his 3v3 is better. Im not sure if i actualy think that or not but what ever. In ranked do these steps and you should be owning. Make sure you get the gaurdian angel though. Because you will be focused. And with this crazy life steal you can probably take on their whole team with GA and all the items i listed. Its mainly all about harrasing early game with jax i cant stress that enough thaough.
