I have recently started playing Jayce as a jungle character, and have tried to develop a guide which complements his strong Attack Damage based abilities, good escape mechanism, tankiness in melee mode and long-ranged damage abilities.

In this guide I will cover the ideal setup for runes, masteries and items, so that you can get the most out of playing Jayce as a jungler.

Hopefully, this guide will allow you to play Jayce in a way that you haven't really thought of before.

Due to his speed gate, his melee=tank stance, and his ability to simply shoot long-ranged missiles at enemies trying to hide behind turrets, he is an ideal ganker and can actually be put to good use in team games.

The path through the jungle should be the same as with any jungler, first, take the wolves, with a teammate to help soften them up, if you need to, use a health pot, and move onto the blue golem, from their, clear wraiths, then wolves a second time (More gold and less damage taken than going golems), move onto red, carry on farming until level 4, and you should be all set to gank.
