Introduction

So, I tried Ryze and realized he is a beast in hiding. Some call him on of the more squishy mages, but with a build like mine you can utilize Ryze's insane damage and have enough HP to take some hits like a man! I insist that you fully read the guide before bashing it. Now then, lets get started!

Runes

Simple choices with some difference than other guides. I take Magic Pen. for the potential of extra damage early on, I also take AP glyphs for that early game boosts(note: Another option would be AP over time Glyphs, both work well enough). The major difference from other guides is I take HP Quints and Seals for that HP boost early game, many people believe that Magic Pen, AP or Mana regen is more neccessary. I don't. The HP w/ Dorans ring is enough for you too lane for a long time. You also gain Mana regen with the dorans so I find that HP Quints and Seals are more helpful throughout the game.

Summoner Spells

= I love this spell, Ryze does not really have any escape and this is just wonderful.

= I take this for many reasons, One that it can help get some "impossible kills" and Two because the extra AP you get from it's mastery is very, I mean very helpful!

Other Options

= I guess this helps against those melee-oriented champions such as Yi and Tyrndamere and those heavy burst champions such as yourself.

= An alternative for ghost.

= Very helpful, I find late game a couple of annoying stuns + slows can almost kill you for sure. This helps alot.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY OTHER SPELLS, BUT FEEL FREE TO EXPERIMENT!

Now to my item build! We start with a Doran's Ring(**Cannot be shown for some unknown reason**) and if possible a as well. On our first trip back we pick up a Catalyst the Protector for the extra HP and Mana. Afterwards we try to get some as soon as possible. We then upgrade into a .
