This is my first build, and also the first build on Mobafire for Karma. :)

This build is basically a hybrid between AP and support. You will be able to deal a lot of damage, while not being squishy at all.

The items focus on great survivability, while not sacrificing much AP.

Health, AP, mp/5. Everything you need. I wouldn't advice you go to straight for catalyst, because you will really want the manaregen from the dorans.

Catalyst the Protector Straightforward; good stats and great passive.

Good boots, since you'll have no CD reduction on the other items.

I get this early because of the passive. Great item for Karma.

Now, it depends on the enemy team on which item you will want to get first. They got a lot of AP? Get Abyssal Mask first. Lots of DPS? Get Zhonya's Hourglass. No DPS at all? Skip the hourglass. You get the idea. When you want to replace an item, replace it with Rylai's Chrystal Scepter

A lot of AP, a lot of MR and a good passive.


You will now have A LOT of AP, deathcap's passive also scales great with your passive.

You already got the MR from the Abyssal scepter, now you'll have the armor. The active on this is really usefull too.


Now why did I get MR and Armor? Because it works really well with your shield and with your mantra-heal! The more damage reduction you have, the more damage it will take, to take your shield down. Always try to counter the enemy's team damage, if they don't have any dps champ, skip the hourglass.

After you bought your 6th item, you should sell the Doran's Ring and buy your last item. I like getting Rylai's Chrystal Scepter. but this is really just preference. Buy what you need. You probably won't find yourself buying your last item though, since the game should've been over.

Decent item for Karma, not a big fan of this though. You'll need your item slots for better items.
If you go for Mejai's, get it after your Rod of Ages
Good support item for Karma, makes it easy to hit her W spell.
If you have a lot of casters in your team, this surely is worth buying! Spellvamp works great with your AoE spells.

The cooldownreduction you need.
The more manaregen, the more you can spam.
I take magicpen for the marks. You could go flat ap here if you'd like.
More cooldownreduction.

I max Soul Shield and Heavenly Wave first. Your farming bread-and-butter will be Mantra+ Soul Shield followed by Heavenly Wave. By doing this you push lanes in no time. Around midgame creeps will instantly die from this combo. While laning, you can also use Mantra+Soul Shield on a friendly creep that is low to harass enemy champs trying to lasthit it :P.

Also, never try to jungle alone except from wraiths. Blue buff is really nice for karma, but it can take quite a while to kill him.
