yeah it sounds cool "Port in, hit, Silence, hit, Wave, hit, Port out"
this combo is never ever possible in late game where the only battles are team fights.
and with my personal build, i am not posting here, u dont need it because as a good kassadin u know exactly how much dmg u make and when to port in and kill the enemy, even in teamfights where most enemys are alive u can kill them without taking any dmg at all. (not possible with lichbane in my experiance because u try to hard to hit him once, twice or even tree times => greater risk of dying)
perhaps it works for u guys, but i am doing very very well without it, getting as my last item most of the times banshee => very well in teamfight to port in and burst someone.
