Thanks for the criticism. You have to try the Dorans blade to realize how well it suits him early game. I guess its my preference but I play Kennen a whole lot. Cheers.

glyphs should be used on something like MR or AP

marks should be used on magic penetration. Kennen doesn't really auto attack so I don't really see the purpose of Greater Mark of Attack Speed. I honestly don't see how Doran's Blade will provide you more benefit than Doran's Shield.

Doran's Blade gives you 10 attack, 3% life steal and 100 hp. Yes agreed if you harass with your normal attack but any decent player will not let you harass them and do nothing about it. They will attack back too! To regain back life you need to actually auto attack but that's bad as you should be focusing on last hitting and not pushing lane.

Doran's Shield gives you armour, health regen and also 100 hp. The health regen is automatic , you dont need to attack and so you can still get CS without pushing lane.

As for laning, in all honesty Kennen is actually better solo. Kennen can constantly harass with Thundering Shuriken where as other AP casters have to be wise to conserve their mana or they quickly be OOM (out of mana). Now if you can constantly harass them, they will have to be more cautious and this could 1)make them lose exp as they not in range 2)unable to last hit meaning no gold 3) go back to base frequently missing out on both the above. Not to mention you can zone them so that it makes it easier for your jungler to gank. It is common reaction to run to the side if you see Kennen throwing a Thundering Shuriken

I play Kennen alot and I play him in ranked. Your build will work ok in a normal game, but will not work at all against any good player. You need magic penetration Marks. You also need to learn to solo a lane, mid or top. Try starting with a Doran's shield, more survivability and allows you to stay in lane longer and last hit minions to farm for more ap. Once you feel confortable with that, try boots and 3 pots. Also, if you want early health, try a 21/9/0 build, which is what I use. You are welcome to try out my guide for kennen as well.

dorans doesnt make you pose that much more of a threat. buy an amp tone and a potion. stay in lane till you could at least buy the hex revo, i prefer till you can buy that and the boots.

i left after reading a general reason of why you chose to snowball. not because i thought you werea noob cuz of that pick but cuz of the reason above.youre either low elo or you play in 'normal games' for you to be able to stack mejais regularly.

you're not reliant on kennans 'w' passive. you get the stacks with lightning rush+ult combo.

no matter what you always want boots since you're going to jump into the middle of the teamfight.with ligthning rush you're about as fast as someone with boots or slightly faster. you want to ult asap and you want to ult in every opponent's face. this require positioning and speed.

example: caitlyn+soraka, vayne+taric
-jungler: tank or bruiser(ad)
example: udyr, gangplank, amumu
(note: this is only the basic comp. advanceor other type of comp may change the position and roles of the lane(including jungling).)
