skill combo E + W + Q + E.Not many are aware to maokais burst ((Low elo)) so you will almost always get a kill in your lane at least in a normal game.
maokai is a very under played hero.But I think he's quite good in some team setups. What makes him good imo is his snare really good for gank in the lane and late game and your poke with E.
maokai have a pretty good farm abillity.u can be a little aggressive to get cs but still get back your life pretty much.but your main abillity for farm cs is E not over throw it, but sufficient to harass then take Sapling Toss + Twisted Advance + Arcane Smash + Ignite and you will get a kill, sometimes you have to do the spell combo twice.

pros: Really good harass / / poke in the lane.
Cons: Very slow mobility function.
Pros: Very easy for The Jungle 2 gank in the lane with your snare.
Cons: Your ultimate not that good imo.
Pros: You do much damage but can still be kinda tanky.
Cons: He is still not the best tank or even close. so he is not the best in some of the role's in the game = no ranked pick : (.
