This guide is for Malphite, Shard of the Monolith.

We'll be focusing on getting Malphite's ability power as high as possible to ensure that your ultimate is the most broken move in the match.

For your spells, take Heal and Flash.

Heal is used to give yourself some health and movement speed, in the event that you need to get away.

Flash is used to get some distance away or too the enemy, or to jump over a wall.

Once the game begins, purchase a Doran's Ring, two Health Potions, and your Warding Totem. This is just the start of a beautiful killing machine.

Next, buy Ionian Boots of Lucidity. While the movement speed is nice, we're actually getting these for the cooldown reduction.

Finally, put the Alacrity enchantment on your Ionian Boots for some more movement speed. Grab a Luden's Echo, Zhonya's Hourglass, Void Staff, Athene's Unholy Grail, and Rabadon's Deathcap for that those sweet, sweet AP boosts.

Max out your Q (Seismic Shard) first. Usually this ability would be the last thing you max out on Malphite as a tank, but this isn't a tank Malphite. Seismic Shard works wonders on Full AP Malphite, dealing incredibly heavy damage both early and late game.

Next, rotate between leveling up your W (Brutal Strikes) and E (Ground Slam). Usually you'd max out Ground Slam first, but recent nerfs have made it less of a priority. Brutal Strikes will give you extra defense due to it's passive, so it's nice to have that.

As with every champion, max out your R (Unstoppable Force) ultimate as soon as possible.

Go 12-0-18 for your masteries.

Recovery -> Tough Skin -> Runic Armor -> Insight -> Swiftness -> Grasp of the Undying

Get 9 Scaling Magic Resistance marks, 9 Armor seals, 9 Ability Power glyphs, 1 Ability Power quint, and 2 Health quints.
