hello

this is my first guide And I have made it of one of my favourite solo top champs malphite.
What I think is fun at malphite is that he is a tank with a lot damage and he crush squish carries easily.

I start with flat health quintessence. this is very nice for malph passive which works with health.

I get armor pen so when I slowed the enemy and when their attack speed is slowed I easily harras them more with some auto attacks.

I get armor cus mostly on the top lane u see a ad champ. like irelia, olaf or gp.

later in the game u have to face ap champs so I have mr per level

for masteries I use ap masteries 24-0-6. this can give u constanly harras on the enemy and ap masteries on the start is very nice for malph. more damage and when u hit 6 u have chased him from the lane or u have a kill. But u must pay attention for your mana!!!

I start with boots of speed. against ad I always rush ninja tabi I am versu ap I use mercury threads.

item 2 and for u have to switch if u are against ap or at least a negatron cloak.

after it I take giants against a olaf or chain vest against the others.
then I rush sunfire cape sunfire is made for malph cus it serves armor for e and health for passive. a other thing u can do is frozen heart.

After this I warmogs but u dont need warmogs if they are all ad then u can better get sunfire and frozen heart. for more damage on u and lesser damager for them.

later I build force of nature nice health regen + magi resist. dont have to be scared to just jump in their team. just takes a few seconds and u are full health.

with all this health
I buy atmas impaler and it gives armor so very nice item for malph.

the last item is infinity edge.
I build this item for his w passive. its a free tiamat. very nice to have on malphite. Tried it a few games and their carries didnt stand a chance and their other champions couldnt do damage.

pros
- u have flash and ult escape so u never get caught.
- they need to focus u otherwise u kill their carry
- has a nice ap scaling to for the begin of the game.
- almost not to counter.

cons
- mana problems at the begin of the game.
- probably there are more cons but cant think of them at the moment
