So, the idea playing Malz my way is to force a farm lane mid. Meaning you will use a lot of skill to waveclear, forcing the other mid laner to do so too.

Heres the way to play any matchup with success! Here's your power spikes

lvl 1
Spam 2 Q in fountain to have 2 voidling charges. One in lane hit the Q on the 3 caster minions and always try to hit enemy laner aswell. Get 1 auto off on every caster minion then do a second Q to kill all the mage minions and spawn a voidling to clear the rest of the melee minions. You just gave an idea to the other midlaner how the game will be played out.

lvl 3 powerspike. 2 points in E, one in Q
Now, all you need is to Q-E a caster minions and the wave will clearitself without even auto attacking rnage minions. Make sure you last hit melees though!

Make sure after each waveclear you back off to your turret, do not expose yourself to ganks!

First back powerspike+lvl 6
This is where it gets nasty. You get a 2nd doran ring and mobi boots or just mobi boots. Keep doing the waveclear method but this time instead of backing up at tower, look for ganks. If you can't gank any lane just stay by your tower and make the enemy laner ping his team fearing your ganks!

after every succesfull gank, look to get objectives, Malz is so strong at that!


After laning phase:
Ward, look for picks, siege with team. If a teamfight occurs, I like to play like a peeler, using my silence on their mid laner then saving all my other skills for anyone diving my adc. It's freelo man!
