Hi i am have tryd to work out a full maokai tank whit allot of cc recuerment.

the items basicly health/health regen and some resist depending on what your faceing and Ryals septer is great puts some extra slows on your spells like the saplings and the ulti.

The skill sequence basicly "W Twisted Advance" great CC and whit the combo "Q Arcane Smash" you can hit off a great cc for your team to kill off some.
"E Sapling Toss" i uses to get that extra feld of view to avoid traps and anbush and when killing of dragon or baron it is a great tool to avoid getting it steald.

spell way i am use Clarety and flash for the great serviceability and laneing pres sens in early game. and for mid/end game they are great for hunting down runners and having the Ulti up for longer and that's will make the the grps fight much easier for your team.

This build is for team fights mostly and after grp up you will see the great tool maokai is in team fights.

Pros: great self heal, short Ulti CD, Ganks is easy on mao whit Twisted Advance and Flash and great tools to save team m8s in trouble.
Cons: don't have a Taunt.
