Threats & Synergies
Can't burst you down enough with the amount of life-steal this build has.
Loses a large chunk of health from Ult+W combo.
He can't burst you down enough but until he leaves his W you'll can't either
He's almost exclusively Melee which means he has to fight you in a tentacle minefield AND burst through your ridiculous life-steal.
You can counter her ult with your own and you out damage her with W+Q.
He cannot burst through your life-steal.
Like Camille but more bulky.
Even until level 6, Then you Win. Ult her when she dives.
Just don't let him get ahead and he can't burst through your life-steal.
You have more burst. As long as he doesn't take ignite you should get ahead.
More of a nuisance than a lane opponent, just keep farming.
Kinda scary until level 6 then it leans more towards you. largely skill based.
Catch him without his E and you get a free kill. Scary team fighting tho with his ult.
Entirely skill based.
Skill based. Alert team when he hits level 6 and rush him when it's down.
Again skill based. be cautious of her great Poke potential.
Make sure to keep harassing him and prevent him from farming. keep in mind he can use your tentacles to stack his Q so protect them.
skill based. his poke and Q is very scary. late game he's more of a nuisance then a Threat with literally no teamfight potential.
He's too tanky to burst down so just focus on farming and make sure he doesn't get ahead.
whoever get's first kill wins.
Annoying but beatable just farm and harass him with your E and you should win.
Very scary. Try to bait out her W and try to land your E whenever you can.
Can live through your burst and deals more damage than you can heal if he builds right. buy executioners calling and/or ninja tabi's.
You get countered by his ult.
Too much poke and mobility but still beatable if they don't know what their doing.
Poke is too Strong but late game he'll be trying to split push.
Very hard because his mist walkers can body block your E.
Borderline unwinnable if they know the basics of Quinn due to her being so mobile preventing you from landing both your Q AND E unless you get lucky.
A bit of information on Illaoi
+Hard to kill with lot's of life-steal
+Great AOE damage making her ideal for 1v5s.
-No mobility or escape without burning flash
-Hardly any range
-Exposed if her burst misses or the enemy tanks or nullifies it.
-literally no CC
Grasp of the undying
this rune is arguably the best rune on Illaoi because of how well it works with her passives Life-steal and her decent bulk. the other runes are practically useless on her (Illaoi has no hard CC and top is a solo lane so the only time Guardian would be used is when your jungler ganks.)
demolish helps Illaoi a lot when it comes to damaging turrets because of her slow auto-attack speed allowing her to deal a chunk of damage every few minutes.
second wind helps you stay alive and in lane so you can continue harassing your lane opponent and gaining more CS then if you took Conditioning or Chrysalis. Aside from that you won't be noticing it much.
Any bonus permanent health on Illaoi is great allowing for you too stay in lane longer the other 2 aren't as useful as overgrowth.
Taste of blood
More life-steal is always great on Illaoi.
Free life-steal for killing Enemy champions? a definite Yes.
level ult whenever you can like with every other champion.
Slows vessels making it easy to catch up and get a free kill also good harass.
Basic damage and great Pressure.
Great damage(especially when near tentacles), decent gap-closer and Your main damage tool in team-fights and Skirmishes.
A necessity on literaly every champion in the game. Best offensive and defensive summoner spell in the game allowing for ganks, gap closes, escapes and engage, no different for Illaoi.
Great spell for pressure in laning phase, split pushing, joining team fights and Global pressure. Used on almost every top laner Illaoi, is no different
