Wriggles is amazing for free wards and lane sustain, however it can sometimes be a slow to build item depending on your early game, don't feel TOO concerned if you don't get it, it's skip-able, especially if you find yourself needing damage over sustain.
Phage is the next place you wanna go, just to keep up with mid game damage both for and against you. This will build into Frozen Mallet later, for lots of health and an amazing slow.
Bloodthirster, scales great with his passive and a generally strong AD item for anyone.
Frozen Mallet, for health and damage, and DAT SLOW.
Warmogs, this is mainly there as a safety net, if you find yourself needing some more defense, then atmogs is never a bad choice. Should you find yourself going this path, it may be best to pick up and Atmogs, PD, and IE for a rather solid defense while still providing a strong amount of offense.
Atma's, just in case you build Warmogs.
Banshee's Veil, great item all around. Since you already have your W for blocking skills, this only makes you more unstoppable, really a great pickup against any decent AP characters, especially against teams with lots of CC.
Phantom Dancer, if you need some movement, crit, and attack speed, all of which are great for short ranged AD champs, then this is your item, works well in combination with Atmogs -> IE, as well as Frozen Mallet to help you get to the enemy and keep them there so your team can get there and hit them hard.
Guardian Angel...for obvious reasons.
