Thanks!! glad you enjoyed using the mejai's soulstealer! It's pretty easy to get stacks with it as long as your team isn't feeding. I'm not sure about another guide just yet, i'll probably keep updating this one with newer info. I generally play Shen in 5's but it depends what is needed :)

Mejai's definitely worked for me. Snowballs started snowballing. Ganks and 1v1 kills came much easier. By using my ulti in the bushes, I didnt really need BV since I'm normally running with 2 melee champs (Sion/Xin(or Tryn)) who hold and CC the front fairly well... leaving me for the full cast every time.

Good to hear you got used to not using the Banshee's Veil, it's really a hard item to ween off of... but in the end it really can be worth it! Good luck in your future games :)
I've tried nunu without a banshee's. it didn't work. Also, nunu shouldn't be a pure AP carry, because he has 2 spells that deal damage and 1 is difficult as hell to pull off (ESPECIALLY WITHOUT A BANSHEES). If you're going for pure damage, put as much power into your ultimate - thus, stop their CC with a BV. Nunu should be a tanky AP support, using his spells miore for utility than anything. Focusing on damage is okay as long as you build tanky as well, because you need to be not only threatening but bulky so you're not an easy threat to deal with. Literally none of this applies if you don't have a banshee's.
Don't play carry nunu, it just doesn't work.
Especially if you lane.
Nunu is not a carry and I don't think I ever stated that in my guide. However, Nunu is such a powerful champion in 3's and it's all because of his utility with his slows, buffs, and extremely powerful spells! I have changed my guide around slightly to appeal to people like you who can't live without Banshee's Veil, but really I still don't normally play with it unless there is an entire team of CC's. Ranked or unranked Nunu is one of the best support champions in 3's because every single one of his spells is extremely useful. I hope this will change your mind about how effective my guide really can be.

Mejai's Soulstealer is a MUST for Nunu... IF YOU READ MY GUIDE you would understand why that's the case. I don't use Banshee's Veil because I never need it and find it to be a waste of space for a solid AP build. Banshee's Veil is situational at best and I only get it over Rod of Ages if the ENTIRE enemy team has stun locks and CC's. If you choose to use it, I'm not going to stop you but try out my guide before criticizing it ONLY for two items...
I did read your guide, nowhere did I see why you get it other than if you're doing good, which makes it situational, not a must. BV is a must because you don't want anyone to stop your ultimate.

Mejai's on Nunu? No. As Trojan said, that's like Janna with Mejai's. Make it situational at best. And no BV? That is a MUST on Nunu. The only possible reason to not get it is if they have no cc at all, but even then, the other stats are just so good.
