As Orianna what you would want to do is use your ball as a ward to save money and also to poke at there ADC when they go into farm, or you can use it in the side bush and instantly get great bush control. In team fights you want to go with someone who has a leap of some sort so you can put that ball on them and ult when they get into the middle of the fight setting up your team for a good position in the fight. Orianna's teammates need to be more towards team fights, like a Malphite or Amumu, usually you would want to have a full cc / burst like team, a good team comp would be a, Orianna, Malphite, Amumu, Katarina, and Graves.
