Hi Guys,

i am new to Mobafire and this is my First Guide featuring Riven - The Exile a Melee DPS Champion which is a lot of fun to play. I am going to show you my Item choices, Mastery and Rune Picks and i will explain why i picked this and that.

So let's go...

For Runes i take the Following set which will allow me to play a constant Solo Top or even Jungle.

Health regen Quints which will give you an amazing early game sustain combined with Regrowth Pendant.

Marks are pretty self explenatory - Armor Pen red's for more overall damage output.

My Seals are flat armor to boost my early game.

For Glyphs i take magic resist per level which are helping me in mid-late before i get my Force of Nature.

No mana Masterys selected, also only for early, the armor pen gained by the offense tree is just not comparable to the Bonuses the Defense Tree gives you, extra experience and reduced time dead is nice too have.

Regrowth Pendant is an excellent starting item which synergizes well with health regen quints to give you amazing sustain.

Depending on your Enemy you get your Wriggles or Merc's first, if you go Wriggles first at least buy Boots of Speed before completing Wriggles.

Pick your Heart of Gold while or after geting your Wriggles and Merc's then head straight to the Phage.

Now you got your Resistance, a bit of Damage, a slow, and some Health, time to get some Damage.

Black Cleaver is your Best Friend with Riven, you just hit Q, AutoAttack, Q, AutoAttack, Q, AutoAttack, Q, and your Damage will be amazing.

After Completing your Frozen Malet fighting gets really easy, you just activate your Ultimate,Spam Q,Q,Q,AutoAttack,AutoAttack,AutoAttack,W,AutoAttack,Use Ultimate Active and get a Kill.

If you have problems against specific Champions just pick a chain west or negatron cloak which you can build into a force of nature and randuins later.

Maxing Q first is self explanatory, its amazing.
Geting all your skills before Level 6 just gives you optimized use of your passive.
W is your interrupt, Anti-Gank, Damage, Passive-Activator, just very usefull.
E is just a Gap Closer in Early-Mid-Game and gets very usefull in late game fights.
Ult at 6, 11, 16 as usual.

Flash Teleport, Solo Top presence, Flash Smite, Jungling, feel free to pick others, none of them is a must have but those are the best ones for me.

This Guide/Build is not finished, i haven't gained enough experience with riven to say this is my final Build so stay calm and check back in a few days ;)
