Hi I'm EdwardPatton and I love to play as Riven; when I first played her I didn't like her, but that was because I was a noob. But, after MobaFire I've been doing better; I was once a practitioner for Riven, but decided to take it a step further and be a theorist for her. Good:
-High mobility
-Nice damage
-Fun
-Nice early damage

Cons:
-Bad early means bad late
-Needs to land all skills

Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction: I love it, because I can just spam all of my abilities

Greater Glyph of Magic Resist: Get it if you can't handle how much you have to point and click or just being killed by AP.

Greater Seal of Armor: Armor... armor... ARMOR!

Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage: Get it if you're getting Mark of Desolation

Greater Mark of Attack Damage: Vice-versa

Brute Force : DAMAGE DAMAGE DAMAGE EARLY GAME EARLY GAME EARLY GAME WIN WIN WIN

Summoner's Wrath : I love Exhaust

Alacrity : Read the next one

Weapon Expertise : +10% who doesn't want that much pent?

Vampirism : Life steal is actually pretty good on her, because of her passive

Sunder : Makes your life so much easier against those Shyvana people <.<

Executioner : Just read it it's a no brainer =P

Resistance and Hardiness : She needs to be AD Tanky so getting these will help you immensely!

Durability and Veteran Scars : Again AD TANKY

I have builds for different situation:

AD Heavy Team (4 AD):

Early Game:

-Cloth+5 pots

-Boots

-2 Doran Blades (Can only get this and need survivalbility)

-B.F. (only when you're fed)

-Madred Razor (When you are not fed, but don't need surivivalbility)

-Merc (Heavy CC)

-Tabi (Weak CC)

-Wriggles

-If no kills get Heart of Gold

Mid:

-Black Cleaver (Enemy armor under 100)

-Last Whisper (Over 100 armor)

-Blood (if got B.F.)

Late:

-Thornmail

-Guardian Angel

-Atma

-Warmog

-Tri-Force

Your choice

AP Heavy (4 AP):

Early:

-Boots+3 pots

-Negatron (if hard time)

-B.F.Sword

-2 Doran Blades

Mid:

-Bloodthirster (if you got B.F.)

-Banshee

-Sheen

-Hexdrinker

Late:

Even (3AP+2AD or 3AD+2AP):

Sell your Heart of Gold if you're not going to build it into Raduins in at least late mid game.

I don't want you to heavily depend on me to know what to get for some of the builds; YOU have to decide that for yourself.
