Ability Order Slurpin' Monsters (Jungle)
Threats & Synergies
Strong champ with insane burst, mobility and regen. Any good Ekko players will destroy you. He dashes out of your W, can stun you, gain a shield, run away with ult. Its just a terrible match-up. Ban every time!
Tanky fast boi with lots of CC that can pull you away from his team. His tankiness and speed make him a really difficult matchup. Additionally he can stun you. There isn't much you can do against him until lategame when you group up. It's a really difficult matchup but luckily no one plays him ;P
His Q cancels channeling abilities. RIP your W and Ult. Additionally, Kassadin is a heavy flank character much like kayn since his ult is basically a free flash. If he is any good, he will find you before a fight even starts and negate your engage. Really hard to play against midgame and even more dangerous late game. Stay away.
With Q/E/R he can cancel your ult channel and W ability. Lots of CC and so much range. If the enemy team wards well, blitz will make it very difficult for you to engage mid/lategame.
Cannot be CC'd when he ults. Also has insane low HP lifesteal which makes him really difficult to deal with in the jungle and lategame. Overall an unpleasant matchup.
Lots of CC and super tanky. Prevents you from getting in the fight and makes your midgame hell. Very difficult matchup if you can't get ahead early.
Silence/Knockup/Feast = Rip Fiddle A good Cho-Gath player will make your life hell. If you can hold off to lategame, you might have a chance with your team.
Red Kayn Knockup = Cancelled Ults and W His ability to roam through walls will grant him vision of you preventing your ULT fear going off in teamfights. As a side engager, he does the same as you, half the time he will find you hiding behind that wall and ruin your engage. Additionally, he's very oppressive in the jungle, as a farm heavy jungler, they isn't much you can do early game if he invades.
If gragas times his ult correctly and stays behind his team, your engage will pretty much be useless unless you zhonyas immediately or manage to get him inside your fear range. He also bursts pretty hard, if you are against him in the jungle, be wary of his damage. Your best option is to fear him and run away if he invades.
She really screws with your midgame. A good morgana will easily negate your engages and skirmishes midgame with some well placed blackshields. Her root is also obnoxiously long for a squishy character like fiddlesticks.
Engage > Root > Your Ult + Fear Win every teamfight easily, GG
Malphite R into your R Need I say more ;] Easy to execute = easy to win
His Knockup engage into a charm ult gives you lots of time to get in position and throw out your crow storm. A really good partner for fiddlesticks.
Shields + Slow + R that gathers people in one spot? Yes please! Just R after she Rs and you win the fight. Exceptional midgame champion that will synergize really well with fiddlesticks. PS: She can also put her ball on you and let you engage then bring them in ;]
She can keep you alive after your engage and guarantees extra CC time with her ult and Q. Additionally, her new rework allows her E to add damage to your attacks. Overall a really strong partner for fiddlesticks.
He Ults (knockup) You Ult + Fear He Ults (knockup) Absolutely disgusting CC times.
If she can snare more than 1 person and you are in position to ult the rest of their team, thats basically a won fight. Really strong midgame synergy and even better lategame. If you are behind, Lux can definitely give you the edge you need to get back in the game and take over midgame.
If he ults you after you ult + engage, Thats 4 seconds of CC on the enemy team. Additionally, his ult gives you much needed resistances. Super strong synergy.
Very good in jungle skirmishes with his ult + stun into your ult fear. A really good engager that gives you ample time to find a good spot to ult in.
If she can R you after you engage with your ult, you can save your zhonyas for when her ult expires giving you 4 seconds of immunity. This will also allow enough time for your cooldowns to come back up when you get out of zhonyas.
He can ult you after you engage with R giving you some much needed tankiness. Allows for a later zhonyas buy in the game giving you more early damage and CDR. Additionally, after ult-ing you, he can taunt any champions outside of your fear range.
If you get a good ult engage in and he ults at the same time thats basically a won fight. The rest of your team should easily be able to clean up the 1/4 hp enemy team ;]
If he can trap a few people in his ult, you can follow up without needing to fear them/be hidden. PS: Since he's a jungle champ, works best if you go support, same build works in botlane too.
Champion Build Guide
You won't need a leesh. Get your E second.
2. Do wolves
3. Pull blue and gromp together, suck em up ;]
Position them next to each other so you can hit them with E intermittently between slurps
4. If you see a gank opportunity, level Q and gank.
Otherwise, level W and back.
PS: Fiddle is especially good level 4+, try and gank then rather than earlier.
Focus on farming, your W is amazing for clearing camps quickly and staying healthy.
If you notice the enemy jungler somewhere on the map and you are on the opposite side, invade and steal some camps, you set him behind and you minimize the damage he does in the lanes by getting some extra gold yourself.
Countless games I have been able to stay relevant by spam farming the enemy jungler's camps while he spam ganked my lanes. It forced him to do bad ganks when he got back in his jungle because he had nothing to farm and I was able to capitalize on that by being there and knowing which side of the map he would potentially gank.
Also, it's really harsh on their mental ;]
Nothing feels worse than coming back to your jungle after a successful gank to find out your whole jungle has been wiped. Yikes
2. If you are ahead, consider Hextech GLP.
3. If you are behind against heavy AD, get Zhonyas first.
If you are behind against heavy AP, get Banshees first.
4. If they have slippery bois on the enemy team, get Twin Shadows instead of Hextech GLP.
5. If you end up buying a defensive item first (zhonyas or banshees) make sure you get Hextech GLP right after.
6. Spirit Visage is only needed if you have trouble staying alive after engagements.
If you are surviving, you don't need to buy it.
Get as much early harass as you can levels 1 and 2.
2. Keep a good distance, you are much weaker generally at level 3.
Your strength as a support lies in the early levels. Push that lead and make sure they don't hit you back. Utilize your E silence by hitting them in the center to prevent engages. If you see them start to walk up. Silence them and move back.
3. Until you get your ultimate, you should try and play more passively levels 3/4/5,
Most botlanes will be stronger than you and will try to abuse it. Stay safe and wait for level 6.
4. At level 6 there is no contest, go ham. There's so many options to get "hidden" and fear with your ult using alcoves. Should grant you some easy kills. Just make sure you use your trinket to clear a few wards. Invest in some pink wards ;]
Fiddle is currently a bit weak on the damage spectrum, being able to stack CDR as damage and gathering storm for lategame will guarantee you stay on par or at least close to the other mages in the game.
The CDR is especially useful with ultimate hunter, you'll have super low CD ults for lategame fights which will guarantee you snag some more wins. An ult into a team where they have no vision of you guarantees a fear on every member. N O I C E
Most CDR items already have pretty high AP ratios, having that extra bit of damage once you hit 45% goes a long way in ensuring you deal that DPS. This is the only build i've found that keeps fiddle viable in the jungle in the current meta.
(at least until some damage buffs come along)
Use it after an ULT engage to burst some squishies
2. Consider replacing your Ionian Boots for Sorcerer Boots lategame if they have heavy MR. Personally, i've only ever had to do that once against a tankier team. We had heavy AP users and they spammed a few MR items.
PS: Keep in mind your ult will fear the enemies if you were hidden before ulting in.
Behind a wall, or in a bush where they had no vision. If you are sitting on a ward, you won't fear them. Make sure you use your free sweeping trinket before ulting in to ensure you're not sitting on a ward.
