OK Going to try and make this to the point as possable. This is a EASY Champion for a safe Solo Top.

Mundo Has a really squishy and easily countered early game So Letting your oponent Push is Vital to not being GaNkEd. Once you have LvL 2 boots your Spiritual Visage You start noticing a difference. Having your Ultimate is a game changer as well for combat and quick escapes. Now If you have never played Mundo before you want to turret hug until level 6-7 or unles your Jungler has helped put you at an advantage. I did not list wards in this build but unless you are constantly pusshing back they really arent needed until later in the game as well.

Well Talk about gear options below being that going straight for mundos health and regen is not always best depending on who your oponent is and if your jungler is a blind one armed monkey mashing a keyboard.

The Truth is Your a Tank you need armor and mag resist the end! But alot of people prefer the Progressive Runes for late game AND I AGREE if you have a really good early game you dont need the flat armor and magic resist but this guide is for being a Safe solo top and because Mundo Lacks early game i would make him as tanky as possable off bat and hug that turret like it was a life saver because it will be.
Magic Pen.... Well you want to do a little dame right??? and since Mundos Q is Pecentage based a slow and magic damage all you need is to stack this little bit of magic pen to make it work. ( with a little bit of skill in skill shots )
Now the actual debatable part Move speed????? WTH
It is preference as is much of this game. If you like most people havent bouth the quints USE Flat HP or AD runs for early game support. I prefer Move speed for late game fun combined with your Ultimate and Ghost even Yii will have trouble catching up!

Muno Kiting is the **** and when you get good at it you will have a blast playing with an entire enemy team and living!!!!!

Some people will argue... Hey man why didnt you put three points into initiator If you like movement speed so much? Well the answer is I spend most of my game under 1/2 Hp and holding my finger on [R] waiting for someone to try and gank me. and Mundo doesnt stay at max Hp often either way unless your just farming minions late game. But If you just want a little more chase you can move a few points around and go for the gank assist late game.

If thats not wins a game aside from flat out comon sence and teamwork IDK what to tell you.

OK Begining sequence...

1. Regrowth Pendant + 1 hp pot
Play defensively and dont let them pull you verry far off the turret This build is for sustainability - you have no mana you regenerate health, if you stay near your turret until your oponent gets low on mana and your jungler times things right you will get your kills and assists.
2. IF.... your not having issues with farming skip this but sometimes playing this defensively loses you alot of gp5 [Heart of gold]
3. Boots- OK my first choice always is Mercury's Treads for the tenacity but obviously if there playing mostly ad skip this and just get Ninja Tabi for the armor and save some gold. You lose tenacity but Your Mundo you go where you please!
4. Spiritual Visage- I see alot of people Skip this and often I do to but for the mag resis, cd reduction, and pasive its a great and cheap peace of gear. Stax well on Mundo. If your having an amazing game and B with like 2k gold start building warmogs imidiately.
5. Warmogs. Yea Enough said!!
6. Sunfire- Stax extremly well with your [E] a little armor and more HP\
7. Force of Nature- Ever see that Mundo with about 10hp run into a bush and when your about to end him see 2 seconds late hes recovered about 1/4 of his Hp yea its his passive+Ult+ this!!!!!!!!

Other Great pieces of Gear to Substitue on Mundo

Late Game a Second warmogs+++ if your not running into more than one Bloodrazor.
Atmas Impailer++
If Gold is No issue and your owning Just To show them Mundo is More than A Fast *** Purple Hulk Trinity your last Slot for the AD,AP,Move speed,HP
(I almost never waste the money it is a troll item but can be usefull.)

Max out your Q First
Help your Jungler Catch Them!!!!
Some People Max out there aoe but you have to be verry confident if your pushing that far!
Of course Put a point in your Ult ever time its up!

It is undispensable.
Exaust is my first choice in that quick getaway or that gank assist top.
Also if you leave your ult up sit on your turret with no hp and wait for a brave Jungler or Oposing solo to jump you.... =) pop your ult+exaust+{Q] Juke! Juke! Juke!

Other Great spells
( I recomend anyone new to Mundo take Teleport for obvious reasons.)
You may need to go back more than someone who has a little more experience.

Flash!!! Always a good gap closer and escape + great with ghost!!!

Ignight Ewwww ... Not on Mundo. You may get lucky here and there but Most likely if you get them Low... You WILL CATCH THEM!!!
