Been playing Sett for a couple of weeks now and tried him mid.. and I have an 80% ish win rate from Iron 4 to Silver 4 in a week.
1st item should be taimat so you can clear lane quickly. I start with Q then go to e or w depending on the damage of my opponent. If youre facing a strong champ early go with q then w. Once you get taimat if you happen to fall behind stay near turret so you can e then taimat to clear wave quickly... at 6 you can e then r them under the turret. I always run teleport so I can roam better to help my teammates.
1st item I always go BORK... this helps you stay in lane much longer.. second item is usually black cleaver.
