A bit of formatting and grammar work wouldn't be amiss, but other than that, this guide looks conceptually sound. Shen is my main, but I've never had any luck building him AP. I'm cut out to be a tank, melee support doesn't work for me =P I may just try this though; you seem to have given it more thought than I have.

I know ;) many told me that. It is more to get a ap bonus and lower the cost of the build... but I think I replace it with Nashors Tooth or Guinsoos Rageblade what would raise the gold costs ;/
