at the beginning of the game i like to start with ability power and health regen so i take and amplified tome and a health potion. I personally like bottom better than top, but it's your choice. just never go mid, sure you may get lucky sometimes but not all the time

if your going to play top always play with a ranged champion such as Ryze , Lux or Ashe, because they have ability to stun of slow which can really increase the chance of first blood.

WATCH OUT FOR JUNGLERS, for they decide to gank bottom more then top. Just in case your ganked always have your flash ready to make a quick escape.

Always try to get something else other than middle. you may get lucky but most of the time, you'll just keep getting harassed and not be able to kill many minions so you will fall back in the game.

i chose to get the hextech gunblade first for a reason. 1: because it increases ability power and damage. 2: when you fire it it slows a good amount and does 300 damage.
all the other items are used to tank every enemy you encounter. there is not much an enemy can do if you drop there hp down to 0 in a matter of 5 seconds.

for summoner spells i like to go with flash and exhaust, because flash can help you escape ganks and give you the advantage when being chased. exhaust is perfect for jax because combined with everything else, there is no choice for your enemies but to die
