You don't account for the cdr in masteries.
He's got 9% there, so it's 16.77% too much :P

With this he's actually got as much as 30%cdr right at lvl one. That's a lot. But you don't really need it that much at that lvl.. If you get cdr items anyway def masteries/runes are better.

i would use Arch angle but the problem is that it would be kind of a waste item for the fact that i do not run out of mana easy. I always have plenty of it. So iv been using Death Fires Grasp and that item is a great replacement for the Locket.

It's not bad, but Innervating Lockett doesn't exist anymore. Also, I prefer Boots of Mobility as she is often needed all over the place and it gets her to her ally sooner. :)

Also, I've never run into mana problems with Soraka except in early game. Once her E is reasonably high, she no longer suffers from mana shortage.

I'd say run a into an for extra mana (and AP with Archangel's), since if you're replenishing mana of others, you'll actually run into a mana deficit pretty quickly without a good mana source.

so now that the locket has been removed from game what would be a replacement item for it in this build?

Does spirit visages effects applies when I heal a team mates?

The one problem that I have with this build is that there is little AP. How am I supposed to heal effectively with so little AP until Zhonya's?

before i was forced to play soraka once i never liked healers. but i got soraka in a all random all mid game and i went for the mana manipulator to get the locket first and i went zhonyas righ after it. it was a very intensive match and i came out on the end with 2/4/36 it was amazing knowing that i kept the entire team alive and going. thank you for the build i really like it.
