Introduction

This is my first build with the newest Champion that was just recently released. Talon - The Blade's Shadow! Go easy on my though!!

You are the solo mid.
You are the assassin.
You are the AP Counter.
You are a physical damage caster.
YOU ARE NOT A DPS CHAMPION.

I know that your passive is dependent on CC effects, but don't get them yourselves. Use your ally's for that added passive. Don't run in like a Yi and start smacking on them either, YOUR A PHYSICAL DAMAGE CASTER, NOT A AD DPS hero.

Runes

The reason why I prefer the Attack damage runes all throughout the page rather than the normal Armor, Magic Armor, and Armor pent build, is mainly because Talon's damage in all of his skills are dependent on his basic Attack Damage. It scales through it also, dealing more damage than if you had armor pents. It's really a basic preference to anyone, but I would rather choose a Level 1 W doing 50 per blade than a Level 1 W doing only 30 + (the original) per blade.

Masteries

The masteries I posted up are basic 21-6-3. Putting 6 in Defense for Armor and Magic Armor, and 3 in utilities under 1 ghost and 2 mana and health regen. This gives me more lane presence in the early game mainly because the regen on my mana is sufficient enough to allow me to spam the W skill.

Items

Now this is really based on preferences, and I have personally made my own build that has allowed me to rule the map at all times. Being the solo mid character, you would only have to deal with 1 person rather than a dual lane. And most of the time you'd get the AP caster (Orianna, Kassadin, Brand, etc...) which is where you initially shine the most, mainly because of your burst damage + silence. I farm enough to get a B.F. Sword and thats when the ball starts to roll. If you have the rune page that I have posted up, you will be able to push a lane in a way that is so quick and harasses so hard, the opposing champion will run far away enough to lose experience. Level 4 W with a B.F. sword and my runes, clears caster minions with 1 cast of a 1. That speaks for itself. If you can do that to waves, imagine how fast you can drop an enemy champion.

Once you get the first bloodthirster, start stacking it up and farm up another one. Each bloodthirster gives you a 60+ atk damage boost scaling up every one of you skills so high that 1 w might clear out 1-4 bars of an enemy champion. So just stack up those Bloodthirsters enough until you think you should start getting other items. I usually get Trinity for the added bonus for my passive and Q skills. And if your just trolling keep getting bloodthirsters ;D.

Farming

Is so OP with a level 5 W, it's going to get nerfed, so take advantage of it. If you have a level 5 w and just 1 B.F. Sword, you can clear out minion waves with 1 cast.
A BIG HINT IS TO LOOK FOR THE LANES THAT HAVE A LARGE AMOUNT OF CREEPS, GO IN THEM W AND THEN GET OUT AND FIND MOAR AND MOAR LANES!!!

Team Work

I can not stress this enough, you cannot win in 5v1 fights, or 5v2 fights. 3 you might just because your a major freaking burst damage monster. It says it on the tips of talon, Target 1 person at a time and shoot her down with all your skills. IF you don't kill them when you blow your cooldowns, get out and wait for another opportunity too repeat the process. Don't use your ult to KS. Use it to burst down your enemy's for your team to finish.

Talon is usually not a person that is able to kill in a 2v1 situation, mainly because 2 of your skills only work on 1 person and if that 1 person kites you, you'd die by the hands of the other person. So play smart and grab your team together and wreck face.

Oh, don't initiate. Remember your an assassin, and assassins are squishy.

Skill Sequence

Start out by getting W and just follow the way you think will make you most successful against your opponent.

The common bread and butter combo, is to press q blink it and attack (Don't forget to attack, they have yet to add the "Talon will try to attack the enemy after he uses his blinkstrike"), then use your W and hit some more. If they don't run, you have two options. Proc your Ultimate and then hit destroy them if you can, or wait out your cooldowns and repeat! This usually works for me.
