As we all know, Talon is quite fresh champion. The opinions about him are divided into: "Talon is useless" and "Talon is op, needs nerf". I am going to try show you why he is good champion, not only on solo lane.

Pros:

Very good harras mechanism
Burst dmg
Stealth on ultimate with bonus ms
Instant silence (usefull on fiddle, nunu, kata or anything with surpress or channeling)
Damage over time

Cons:

Squishy in early game
Need some time to master
Need perfect timing with skills
Any CC is very effective on him
If you will pick him in ranked game you can often recive flame

I start with doran blade. This item gives you some health at start, dmg, and lifesteal - you will need all of that. Berserker's greaves give you atack speed that helps you to use your passive more often. Youmuu is very useful if you remember to use it in teamfights ( T_T ) It gives lot of AS, some of MS and its usefull for chase or retreat. Frozen mallet Gives you lot of survi and slow on every hit ( you need it for passive ) . Trinity force In my opinion should be a cherry on top - it stacks with "Q" , MS, AS and its awesome yay... w/e

Now since I started to play talon I always recive flame. You know why ? Becouse of damn stereotypes "we need support" , "support = win" = BULL***T ! Almost always when I played Talon It ended with " Wp Talon, Talon op, Wut talon, lucker " and more of that ( douchebags ). Since Supports were "nerfed" I started to use macro which was showing everyone that my way sounds legit and can work. It goes " Hello, I am going to play Talon duo lane, I don't need much CS so I can duo with almost every kind of champion - even carry. Flame me now if you must. ". And I was not a lie. For me talon doesn't need much CS, he gathers kills. On early game his damage is enormous. If you harras enemy often with Rake you and your teammate should wait untill moment is perfect, then strike with rake + cutthroat on lvl 2 or 3 . Since Cutthroat is silencing an enemy he is not even able to use flash or heal - It is almost always easy kill. I think I stated why Talon on duo lane is not that bad Idea.
