Can't agree with you about the "cleanse". Together with ghost it saved my life from ganks too many times to consider it usless. What is more, getting items like archmage's staff and Rod of Ages gives you everything you need - mana, hp and ability power...you live longer, you heal for more and you can use your spells endlessly. I have played against other Tarics and Sorakas and have never seen them being as effective as I in holding the party up. That is why I consider my items(except for Zhonya's Ring-which requires a really long game to buy) well thought.

The description could use some more work, assuming you're not entirely done yet.

The items you buy seem to be too expensive to qualify as an AP taric, I mean by focusing on Archangel's Staff and Rod of Ages you are pretty much stuck with that. You will always get dual-stats, but why go for those expensive caster items? You can't AoE like Annie, most of the time you barely get 5k. Why not go for more cheaper items with a little more AP which requires some skills, mana mangement is one of them and you seem to fix that by sacrificing potential. It's just not the way you build Taric, people need to stop this infinite mana nonsence. Just get a golem buff and balance it out with Clarity. It's just overkill.

PS: Cleanse is unecessary since you already bought Mercury's Treads, probably one of the most useless spells in the game next to Revive now. It used to be good, and that's all there is to it.
