Runes

Fill your page with AP and HP runes, as well as Magic pen. Honestly its all you need.

Masteries

The less cooldowns you have the better. We'll get to why you need attack speed later.

Items

Nashor's tooth
ion boots of lucidity
Sheen
Malady
Deathcap
Basically, try to get every sword in the game that has attack speed and ability power, and cooldown reduction with ability power and hp.

Team Work

So why attack speed?
Well. Soraka only has 2 spells that do damage and frankly lol, its not a lot of damage to start with. The attack speed helps with that. This is so much more helpull during team fights (which the game IS about winning team fights) and you will be able to 1v1 even better, and for once.. A build where you dont ONLY get assists on her. Thus making you more helpful to your team and being able to build much faster.

I chose ignite and clarity, and sometimes i even do heal and clarity... And I know it seems rediculous... BUT its so annoying to the enemy team, and makes you that much more unstoppable, haha. teleport and ignite works too, but without as much mana regen, you might want clarity with this build, seeing as your E will be used more often for damage.
