I wanted an in- depth overview about Maokai, to understand what I am up against when fighting him as a jungler and your guide helped me achieve that goal easily.

Really good guide, but you should start with the standard cloth armor + 5 pots instead of dorans ring since the cloth armor builds into the frozen heart and this adds more sustain in the jungle, and because you kill the wraith camp so fast you should head directly to the golem and your teammates can still leash it for you, allowing you to gank without going back to base. (This guide also helped me make my Nautilus build so thank you ^^).

Perphaps, I just find the slow on Arcane Smash not really as potent as extra damage off . Thx either way.

On play strategy later, I find that your cc is extremely useful for keeping the enemy team off your carry, and that it's not always the best decision to use your abilities in the middle of the battle (occasionally). Worth a mention at least.

Also, it's kiiinda iffy to run a Jungle Maokai build without g/5. Just difficult to have the money for something like rylai's and deathcap.

Thanks, does next to nothing~ As for the gp/5 thing, I been trying a Phil Stone for the start, better sustain and what not, a little loss to clear speed but a lot more suspectible to counter-jungling. Comments?

As have I... But then its not that kind of *close your eyes and right click for penta* kind of ppl, besides, those kills could have gone to your teammates....

You do realize that until recently, that was the standard way to play maokai, right? The poke is quite strong (especially in lane).

This was unnecessary and rude. In this community you do not treat people this way. If you have advice, you give it in a polite manner, or keep it to yourself. A simple "maxing Sapling 1st is not as good as you think" would have sufficed. Instead you decided to flame someone and without even giving evidence to explain why you feel that maxing sapling toss first "sucks". "not even good at stealing good ideas, gj you suck bad guide -1" just shows us that you are a **** who does not deserve any respect.
