Hello guys, today im here to show you why tank veigar is the way to go and why full AP Veigar is not usefull at all.

When you play AP Veigar, you can get approximately 1000-1100AP, that is a lot of AP, you can practically one shot all squishy champions with a W-R combo, but it is also a double-edged sword, because a are also really squishy and any burst mages or assasin can easily one shot you and get you out of a fight.

1. THE RUNES

A) ELECTROCUTE | RESOLVE / INSPIRATION

Basically electrocute is the rune to go when you have matchups that will fight against you, abusing their resolve and their burst, like Sylas, Qiyana, Zed... Against this type of matchups, you take ELECTROCUTE/RESOLVE, if you are against melee matchups but that wont fight you that easily, you take ELECTROCUTE/INSPIRATION.

b) PREDATOR | RESOLVE / INSPIRATION

Predator is the best rune for Veigar, it gives u insane AP scaling, its the rune to go in any other matchup, basically if u are not against any melee champ, in which predator is kinda useless, you take Predator, the rune is broken and when you go in a fight with it you will destroy the teamfight and 1v9 easily.

2. THE BUILD

As I said before, tank Veigar is the build to go, u get 800~ AP and you get a tanky Veigar capable of one shotting and hard carrying. You take Everfrost, Rabadon and then go full tank, just try out in game and thank me later.
