I have been playing with thresh almost religiously since his release date and I know how it feels to play as an AD thresh. When I first started to play him, I tried pure support and it didn't work out for me. A lot of people started telling me to go AD, so I did. While I did win a few games with such a build, and even going mid to make a guy playing brand rage quit, I lost way more than what I won. So desperate to be better, I tried something new. I tried a pure tank thresh, my own custom build of stacks of armor, Magic Resistance, and health. THIS build, the Pure Tank build, has allowed me the best results so far for me and my team. I have won at least 95% of my matches with this build and my kills/assists a heck of a lot higher. So in conclusion, I am telling you this to let you know to try it out, it is a far more superior build than the AD build. It gives you such a better advantage for you and your team, trust me.

I have played thresh since he came out and have a few problems and complaints about your build. The only time I have ever had a build like this one work is when the enemy team is stupid, there are at least two tanks on my team, or some variation of the two. I have never seen nor have I ever been successful in a game as thresh or with a thresh that has built this way when the enemy team is not completely ignoring him for the first 7 or 8 levels. Thresh is easiest and most valuable as a tank, ap, support. He rarely dies, he can pull enemies for the actual adc, he can shield, and with a tank build which involves some cooldown reduction, he is able to dish out that much more cc. You are trying to build a tank support like you would build a miss fortune, it won't work against people who actually know how to play a real adc. I am downvoting in hopes that other people do not try this ridiculous build for one of the most valuable tanks in the game.
