Alright so needless to say i build viktor as a Tanky DPS, The reason for this is his pitiful range [with the exeption of his E] but other then that i really feel like you need to be in the fight to be able to do damage, This is one of the reasons to why people compare him to Swain.

So let's get started

i take these cause of Viktors useless mana pool and regeneration

Scales good into late game and let's you dish out some damage without having to build him a PURE ap caster

Flat ability power Quints
Good for early game, helps you from getting rocked.

I start of with aand a this is to give me early game sturdiness so i can harass my enemy with the use of my The shield plus the health reg makes sure that i can out substain most enemys [against enemys like Ahri, Morgana or an enemy Viktor then a could be bought and later sold so you can build you full build.

I get Philosophers for 3 Reasons

1. Viktor is a horrible farmer without a blue sense his mana pool is so bad. so the extra gold gained from the Philo passive gives me the gold i need without me having to constantly waste my mana at lasthitting and instead just use basic attacks

2. Early game tankyness, it helps alot, i can't count how many times this little guy has saved me from getting killed by an Ignite.

3. Upgrading it to This items if the best escape+tankyness item you can get for Viktor the Mobility is so amazing to have.

The Heath gained makes you tanky [duh] and the Passive on theis in my opinion the best you can have, it will help you Surive so many situations, Throw a on an enemy to gain the Shield countering any attacks made and then run away.

Build it for the Obvious reaons:

Health: Tanky tanky tanky

Mana: to counter the AWFUL MANA POOL I CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH

AP: Damage

Lots of health and the Active is great for moving around the battle field along with your

Now when you are pritty much your teams second tank along with high *** damage dealer then people might get the idea to try and focus you down. this item pritty much says "no" activate it if you see alot of CC coming your way. The time it will take for the enemys to even put a dent in you will have given your team the time to take care of most of your Opponents. Also it gives ability power which is always neat to have.

Basic AP Mid caster Spells but here is a list of others that could be effective and some whom are not so effective.

Effective:
could be used against high burst damage opponents like Brand or Annie. if you land an Exaust during there Combo then there mighty burst damage will go to **** and you can begin your counter-attack.


Against heavy CC teams

To help counter his Bad mana Pool.

Can be used to gank or get back to lane.

Built do makes him as tanky as possible but you could change into a more offensive tree taking points such as 21/0/9

As Solo:

Vs single enemys Viktor can do well but if you are facing 2 enemys then i suggest you switch out or atleast get the Teleport summoner spell.

Mid:

Just farm and survive until level 6 as that is when you will be able to do damage using your Ultimate

Lane:

Why? well in any case if you find your self on a dual lane then its pritty much the same as Mid just farm until lv 6 and focus down squishy targets or targets which are very reliant on there spells for example Ezreal.
