As Vladimir, people say don't get spell vamp, but spell vamp works very well with Vladimir, since you don't have sell vamp on any of his skills, they only heal a flat amount so the spell vamp causes his q to heal him two times once you get a hextech revolver, its pointless to turn into a gunblade until the end because you only really use half the item most of the time, and that money could go elsewhere. he boots of lucidity are a great asset allowing you to use your Q 3 times in 6 seconds rather then 2. Rylai's scepter is great because of the slow and health and AP so its an essential item for almost any caster. Rabadons deathcap supplies the most AP of any item in the game plus an additional 30% making it another must-have item. guardian angel is optional, you can build Zhonya's hourglass earlier if you wish or an abyssal scepter or void staff, i use the guardian angel because i don't die a lot, and it gives MR and armor, which make you more tanky. abyssal scepter should switch with Zhonya's hourglass if there is a high AP enemy team
