Why should you choose Vladimir.
I'll say thats its because of hes ranged and tanky, and if you dont do anything stupid you will never die. This guide will show how i will build a succesful Vladimir.

Pros:
Is the only ranged and tank at the same time.
exelent farmer
great harrasser
one of the best teamplay ultimates in the game.
has one of the best escape mecanisme in game (bloodpool)
has blood in his hand ^^

Cons:
Is easy to kill if hit by cc. (stun, slow, fears etc.)
he cant carry a whole game.
Is a nuker so need cooldown reduction.
need to come in lvl 9 before he can do a a lot of cool stuff.

What i get for Vladimir

This is the one part of you're killing combo and together with you ultimate "Auch" it also help alot against healers and trynda :D
This is a great spell with Sanguine Pool and help you get away or catch enemies.

What you Maibe will have

Flash is a great spell I can't deny that it gives great mobiliti but I think ghost can be used on more effektive way.

Cleanse nice spell works well against the evil cc but I can't change it out for ghost or ignite.

The other summoner spells don't help a Vladimir at all.
If someone say that you can use clairvoyance too him I'll say buy wards instead.

Crimson Pact
Every 40 points of bonus health gives Vladimir 1 ability power and every 1 point of ability power gives Vladimir 2 bonus health (does not stack with itself).

This is the thing who makes you tanky and is just awesome.
Transfusion
Vladimir drains the lifeforce of his target, dealing 70 / 115 / 160 / 205 / 250 (+60% of ability power) magic damage and healing himself for 25% (+100% of ability power) of that amount.

This is you main ability MAX IT FIRST and just spam it when of cooldown.
Sanguine Pool
Vladimir sinks into a pool of blood for 2 seconds, becoming untargetable and slowing enemies above him by 50% for 1.5 seconds.

Vladmir deals 80 / 135 / 190 / 245 / 300 (+15% of his bonus Health) magic damage over the duration and heals himself for 12.5% of that amount.

this is just an awsome skill that you can use to get away, kill fleeing enemies and even tower dive with. It's just awsome.
Tides of Blood
Vladimir unleashes a torrent of blood dealing 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 / 180 (+45% of ability power) magic damage to nearby enemies.

Each cast gives him an Empowered stack (max 4), increasing his healing and regeneration by 8% each. Additionally, his next Tides of Blood deals 25% more damage and costs 50% more Health per stack.

This is a great skill to farm minions with and get you life back op with, but keep on as feev stacks as posible it can be a suicide if you use it to much. Keep allways an eye on the stacks.
Hemoplague
Vladimir infects the target area with a virulent plague. Affected enemies take 10 / 14 / 18% increased damage for 5 seconds.

After 5 seconds, infected enemies take 200 / 300 / 400 (+75% of ability power) magic damage.

This is just the most awesome ultimate i know it will do a hell of damage together with ignite or other ultimates like Nunus, mrs. Fortune or just help the carry getting the kill.

many just think Vladimir is pure ap and health and nothing else. But what do you do when you are getting focused ??

My core items is mecury treads, raylai's, hunting guise, and Force of Nature. It give you great possibilities to get away and stay on lane/in teamfight like forever.
Many will say im noob with these items and I should get some ap when they see my dorans shield but i must be doing something right because I've never lost to a Vladimir on same lane or a solo against 2 persons.
Raylai's is the main item and is a must for Vladimir. When you have it you can catch everyone with Sanguine Pool and they'll think "ohh sh** I'am in trouble now".
Haunting Guise gives macig penetraition and is just awesome for Vladimir.
Mecury Treads, andForce of natur gives you great survive ability and great movement speed.
Vladimir can very easy be killed by cc so mecury treads helps much with that.

I can't farm with Vladimir if i just use auto attack so i use my spells and it is much better. You will be farming great with transfusion and tides of blood, remember to hold tides on 1-2 stack so you don't suicide.

League of legends is about strategy and position. That is a very important thing to know and wards help you a lot to see where the enemies are and then you can take someone out of position and both get a nice kill and get the upperhand in teamfight.

Some good warding places:Green dots is special in early game and is some of the best places to set wards. The red dots is some great places to set wards, and the black is only in very special cases.
