If you like vampires then Vladimir may be the champion for you. Vladimir is very fragile early game but gets very powerful mid-late game. He is a very durable caster thanks to his passive providing him bonus health and his ability to heal himself. Vladimir works very well when combined with other area of effect champions, maximising the effect of his ultimate.

Alternatives:
-Mejai's Soulstealer (If you are performing well early game, consider picking this up)
-Guardian Angel (A solid defensive item especially if you have Mejais).
-Spirit Visage (A decent boost to healing and regeneration effects while also boosting your cooldown reduction).
-Moonflair Spellblade (If the enemy has lots of disables)

So, at eary mid keep farming with last hits and use Transfusions to heal Inc Damage, later, tides for blood to Ubbbbbeeeerrrr farm :)

You can choose Flash and Ghost for Run/kill and you always need Ignite. tbh, I prefer ghost since recent flash nerf ;/

21/9 is by far the best build for vlad, why ?
More Damage, More survability! You may ask me why Executioner at Offense? So, when you Use your R at a low health it will kill him "for sure", a 6% more damage on R can make the difference :)
Why Health at Defense ? Passive awnsers it :p

Cons
Earlt game Long Transfusion CD.
Using W at full hp will cost u 20%CURRENT HEALTH.
Tides for Blood needs to be maxed for decent damage, high health cost, short buff duration.
Your W will not avoid Jarvan R and fiddlesticks Drain !
Pros
Using Q to heal/damage when your enemys(@mid) are spamming spells on you will make them OOM in case mana champs and you keep at "good health".
W best escaping tool in the game, if combined with ghost is a /all bb , as you should now you can avoid Karthus R, Caitlyn R, Veigar E, etc.
R is one of the best AoE in the games for teamfights.
Vladimir Passive is just to good, with max gear u end games with 4,5k HP :)

Always and ALWAYS buy wards for mid brushes and in this Games, go for W at LvL 2 instead of 4, cuz that early ganks :x.
All you need is focus on Carrys, cuz they are to weak for you - let's say Teamfight, R + E + Q they are dead if you and others did good.
