Due to Amumu not having a health regen ability he basically spams stuns you need to use this to you advantage.

When u being to play tries to get a lane with a range for example temmo you personally are not going to get the kills but a tank isn’t supposed to. Lucky Amumu bandage does a decent amount of damage that is why i level the bandage first you will be surprised how much damage you an actually do with it.

Since i have selected the health regen first u can stay in lane a decent amount longer with Amumu you need to be sorta carful until you get giants belt.( due to having (q) bandage stun you can actually have a decent gank at level one you always want to try and get one kill in the first 1 or 2 minutes that can change a lot ) When you get giants belt then you can take damage and lot of it just recently i ran right threw a turret at level 4 and it hardly did anything.

Amumu ult i use differently the reasons i use it (btw applies damage) when in a fight the opponent is trying to run away and they have low health at lower levels you will problem get the kill but when level 18 it will help out when you put the ult an stop a major key player on their team. another reason i use my ult is when u see a teammate going to be taken down or he is running from a gank with this build you will have to have almost the entire enemy will have to burst you down if one or 2 attack you even if they stun lock you you’ll walk away so your ult is good for saves more than its ment for kills.

Level 1

Choose a side lane Amumu is not ment for mid from what i have seen. As i said before make sure you are with a range preferably someone who can do some damage at level one. Because of his stun you can easily get a few kills off and push them back. Since you have a heal you can easily act like your about to die so it’s easy to bait.

1-3 try to gank as much as possible do not go back (unless you have to) until you have your giants belt this will put you ahead in levels and money some of the most important things.

Level 6 unfortunately nothing really changes when you get to level 6 you do the same thing over again because it’s the only thing to do. at this point though you can leave lane but i don’t recommend it the enemy team from what i have fought have yet to realize that anumu's ult actually does damage and this is a big part to him getting kills first make sure you are very familiar with the range with all of anumu's attacks most enemy team's think u won’t do much damage due to your build this however is not true if you have this build yes you do not spec into damage but u still do the amount needed to help out your team.

level 10 hopefully at this point you should have your warmogs (going off of doing decently in the game so far) At this point towers shouldn’t have much of an effect on you so it sometimes is a good idea (if your team helps) to burst down a turret even that one turret could get somewhere later on it might be the difference of winning or losing due to the new patch that has recently come out it is easier for the losing team to catch up to the winning team something that was nearly impossible before.
