For jg its good with the attack speed item. For mid, Its expensive, gives you more AD but less attack speed so you wont have full cdr. This will take longer for you to get full build which is why I do not suggest it. If your team is all doing well like 4-0 top and bot, and you are very ahead, then this would be the only time to get it. Otherwise, its better you use that 600 gold for another item.
