After reading the reviews here I was given the intention that this guide could not only perfectly slice bananas, but it could save marriages and inspire life changing events... I feel these stories must have all been fibs or had been delivered by mechanical engineers who could figure this product out to use it to it's full capacity. For the Average Joe such as myself, it only caused chaos.

Over a month ago I read this review to help gain the affection of my girlfriend. I heard of promises of "better love making" and "stronger relations from less fighting over who has to slice the daily bananas." Naturally, it sounded like an obvious investment. However, when it arrived (along with my pokeball drinking cups, which were awesome) it was a nuisance from the start. It arrived in a cardboard prism that let alone took us hours and one phone call to the experts at UPS for instruction on how to obtain our product. After that mess, we only revealed a second barrier made of some foreign plastic material. The UPS was unable to help us due to a quick hang up likely due to their embarrassment over poor customer service in not knowing how to solve our problem. You would expect a high-tech product such as the Hutzler 571 Banana slicer to have instructions on how to extract the prize within. My girlfriend cried for weeks about how much of a tease I was for placing this wonderful product so close, yet so far away at the same time. It tormented her sitting on her kitchen counter... And now here we are, one month later, and she has not spoken to me in days. I've tried everything to get her back apart from standing outside her window with a boombox. That may be my next step... I do fear to awaken the beast if she is slumbering her frustration away for an even worse backlash. But I feel it may be necessary to at least check on her soon to ensure that plastic casing from the banana slicer has not defeated her.
