Yeah, but Kass uses the auto attack in a mechanic already, so the Lich Bane just reinforces it. I don't usually get denied CS because of his anti-poke aspect, although I wouldn't take such aggressive runes on anyone else.

Lich Bane forces you to auto attack, where at a lot of times, is super risky. if you just go for offensive runes you're just gonna get denied tons of cs and get set back.

I don't usually get it on anyone, but Kassadin being melee it's almost necessary.
And I personally rather take the laning/damage because I don't think you should die much from poke, and Kassadin is pretty much ungankable at level 6.

Another Lich Bane... anyways, you should probably switch yellows and blues to defense to help survive the early game. Otherwise the guides decent.
