You're right, this guide was written prematurely for this gent's level, but does that really excuse the kind of garbage C4 Lasty was posting, and yourself later? If you just left it with,"You should get better before writing a guide..." that would have made your point.
It is really sad how desensitized the LoL community has gotten to profanity, and I pray I don't get sucked in to that.
First off, I was mainly talking about C4. Although this: "But when the author f**** up masteries, items, runes and skill sequence, a simple downvote will suffice." is a little overboard.
I am not saying you have to lecture the person on how to build a guide, I'm just saying you could have just done "a simple down vote", like you said would have sufficed.
And may I ask, what is so bad about the skill sequence, masteries and runes?
Have you ever even played Zac?
Firstly, have you ever played LoL at level 30? No? But I'm glad you asked. Not many do that, so I'll give it a proper reply.
Starting with the runes, no one bar no one gets
Items and masteries are ******** because I can't tell what lane he's playing. It looks like mid, but he doesn't really specify and the masteries indicate otherwise. He's removed the double
It also says this in the guide:
Incorrect. Not all AP champs take Rabadon's. AP offtanks and bruisers, for example, will take less AP and more survivability.
He takes the trouble to take 20 points in defense and then doesn't take the 21st point in
I don't even need to play
I have no need to play
As for 'why not simply downvote and leave it at that?'. Firstly, I can't quite downvote just yet, so the only other way to convey a downvote atm is to actually voice my displeasure at the guide. Not to mention he came up with one of the few lines that are one of my pet peeves: 'Please, first try the build and then say what you think about it.', which is utter bs. I don't need to try
Secondly, I did give constructive criticism: 'Stop guide, play game.' If he is smart and listens to me, then he will stop writing ******** guides until he knows better, which is a benefit for the community and him.
And may I ask, what is so bad about the skill sequence, masteries and runes?
Have you ever even played Zac?
Trying to level all the skills simultaneously instead of maxing one before others.
10/20/0 instead of a vastly-superior 9/21/0.
AP Marks.
I am not saying you have to lecture the person on how to build a guide, I'm just saying you could have just done "a simple down vote", like you said would have sufficed.

That's because he made the smart choice of transferring. :3
No, I said there was a tendency for bad players. There are obviously going to be good players like Polsemandem or Invarnati0n, but a large majority of the EUNE do ******** things that would never work at, say, EUW or NA competitive standard. This build is an example of why EUNE gets the stereotype it does.
With the amount of utter **** that's posted on Mobafire daily, even a Saint would snap.
The wrong way have something like this in it: "You just wasted 3k+ gold....I have no words....you must be bronze 5 worst piece of s**t guide I've seen in a while."
And oh, you want to know my favorite champion, it's Talon, and I use "Vapora's guide to Talon", I don't need you to tell me if it's wrong, because I know it's right.
My point is not that this person has a great build, it's that you guys shouldn't be so hard on him, or people like him, because guess what.... you were once just as bad at the game as him.
Level 30 or no, there is no reason to be so low in your speech, it's a game.
This is offtopic, but Incarnati0n, who transferred regions to EUW over from EUNE, has now reached #1 in the EUW ladder and has over 1000 league points in Challenger I.
Looking at the OP's lolking history, he won four games with Zac, in two of which he got carried by his teammates. I assume that he wrote this guide based on his apparent winrate: "I won games building double Rylai's. This must be the optimal build."
Kracelot, ignore the useless ramblings of these fellows. I don't know why they get some weird pleasure out of deriding other peoples work, instead of helping through constructive criticism.
Maybe you should shut up until you're level 30, hm?
Firstly, we're not obliged to give constructive criticism. Why should we waste our time correcting distastefully wrong guides? If the guide was actually salvageable, sure we might give some useful feedback. But when the author ****s up masteries, items, runes and skill sequence, a simple downvote will suffice.
Secondly, I wasn't flaming, nor was what I said useless. I can tell by this guide that he is either not level 30, or Bronze. Not to mention (not that I want to target stereotype, but nonetheless...) that this guy is EUNE, which is reputed to have a tendency for bad players.
Just to elaborate my point: http://www.lolking.net/summoner/eune/31913013
So my advice: Stop writing guides and play more games/get more experience is actually a good one.
I don't get +rep for talking pure ****, y'know.
Name your favorite champion and what your 'core items' are. I'll tell you if you're right or wrong and give you the correct build.
