Zed is one of the more popular assassin that can go top, mid and jungle ( If you are brave enough ) but he mostly goes mid. He is a good duelist and also a decent split-pusher. He has very good juking and outplay potential which will make your opponent look like a fool and 3...2...1... they are dead. But Zed has Pros and Cons which i will be talking about in the next chapter.

Pros of Zed - Uses Energy
- Has long ranged poke even though he is an assassin
- Juking and outplay potential
- Insane Damage
- The ability to focus on the ADC and most likely kill them

Cons of Zed - Hard to Master
- Have to remember where all of your shadows are
- Very weak burst when behind
- Weak to Champions which are tanky and/or has hard CC
- Ultimate can be countered by ZHONYAS / QSS / Invulnerability
- Deathmark damage relies on hitting your Qs and your passive

Marks : Flat AD = Better early game wave clear and farming
Armour Pen = Helps in shredding the opponents armour in the mid to late game
Note : I have 1% crit chance as that 1/100 chance of me doing double damage, in my opinion is better then having 1 AD extra.

Seals : You will get even more health with the Juggernaut Mastery, making your early game better.

Glyphs : Makes poke from champions like Syndra and Karthus less painful, therefore you will be able to stay in lane longer, making them more reluctantly to leave lane in fear of falling behind, hence when u get your ult you can kill them as they are low due to constant poke.

Zed's passive makes him one of the best Champions to CS with in general , he is also very early at farming under tower. So u should be getting around 100 cs at 12 mins at most.
