Champion Build Guide
Bastionbreaker
Bastionbreaker as a first item on Zed is a good choice for 2 main reasons. First, the item's components gives you many useful stats for the early laning phase, such as lethality + ability haste that is needed for this particular build since it relies on it. Second, if you are ahead in EXP + gold you can complete it very fast allowing you, to setup kills on your enemy laner more easily. This helps you to get tower plates more quickly as well due to the item's passive. In cases where you are not ahead or you can't setup kills on lane, you should go for voltaic instead and get bastionbreaker as secondary item.
Early laning phase
Zed is a champion where he can't do much at first levels. What you have to do is simply farm with Q and last hit auto attacks until you get level 3. When you reach that point stack first strike damage with W+E combo. At level 6 you can try setting up a kill with elixir of force as it gives you extra attack damage. In general, get as many kills as you can in order to get enough gold quickly for bastionbreaker.
Mid-game phase and roaming
With bastionbreaker, you can setup roams in either botlane or toplane. This will help you (by getting either kills or asissts) to get bastionbreaker passive and get tower plates and of course gold. Bastiobreaker also helps with objectives such as dragons and baron since the item's passive works on these as well.
LDR
LDR is also a good item which I dont see very often on Zed. Bastionbreaker + LDR is a good combo against tanks since you get the true damage passive from bastiobreaker and the extra hp dmg passive from LDR and since Zed's kit does not give a good advantage against very tanky champions, they can help him deal a very good percent of damage together with First Strike's damage and Axiom Arcanist,on tanks without the need of Cut Down.
Black Cleaver
Black Cleaver is a good replacement item for LDR but against enemies that stack armor or if the enemy have built a lot of armor. Against champions that mainly build HP items, LDR is always the best option due to its passive. Black Cleaver also synergies well, with the upgraded ionian boots since both the item and the boots, give movement speed. That means you get 10% MS from the boots plus 20 MS from the Black Cleaver making you fast enough to reach opponents or dodge skillshots while chasing. All in all, Black Cleaver is a very good optional item for such circumstances.
Endless Hunger
Endless Hunger has good stats that are very useful, omnivamp + tenacity. It's passive also allows you to get extra ability haste scaling with your AD which you will have a lot by late game. It's an optional item which gives you a helping hand against champions with slows or stuns and also, it can replace the omnivamp boots. Of course, you will not get the same amount of omnivamp that you would get with boots but the stat can still be useful. But the whole point of the item in your build, is mainly its tenacity and scaling based on AD ability haste. So, it can be used if needed.
Eclipse
Eclipse is good against melee champions mainly, but it can be used against certain ranged matchups. It can also replace voltaic so if you are against melee, you can go Eclipse + Bastionbreaker as core items.
