Ability Order
Death Defied (PASSIVE)
Karthus Passive Ability
Introduction
Ever been frustrated by dying early in a teamfight? Ever heard the phrase "you don't do damage when you're dead?" Ever felt the urge to play a ridiculous style and still wreck the other team while cackling violently? Of course you have! Zombie Karthus has all the answers to your questions, and will solve all of your problems!
As for masteries, I use standard caster 9/0/21. Try and take the improved version of whatever summoner spell you use.
Don't call me a noob, but I enjoy using Revive and Teleport for summoner spells. If you really dislike this, find another guide =P
1. Have A LOT of deaths
2. Get A LOT of kills
3. Have A LOT of fun
Karthus's passive, Death Defied is where the hilarity starts. Your job during a teamfight is to pop on Defile, walk into the middle of whatever is going on, and spam Lay Waste as much as possible. Use Wall of Pain to both slow enemies down and greatly lower their magic resist.
In doing this, you will probably die, which would usually be a bad thing. But not with Zombie Karthus!! Because of Death Defied, you will be able to continue being effective beyond your own demise. Because of the items you have been buying, you will dish out insane amounts of damage. Better yet, you have Revive and Teleport to rejoin the battle you just died in!
If you're skeptical, I don't blame you. People don't like to die. But remember, people, like to get kills more than they dislike dying. Because of this, if you offer yourself as bait in a teamfight, the enemy team WILL kill you. Consequentially, your team will have time to clean them up, while you continue to be effective beyond death. Using this method, I've often traded myself for an entire enemy team. They don't seem to understand that a dead Karthus is a happy Karthus!!
2. You will almost never take neutral monster buffs - same principal as above. You intend to die
3. You will have a great time facerolling the other team who won't understand how a "feeding" Karthus is wrecking them! XD
Thanks for reading, and have fun!
