The text is kind've hard to see because it is too close to the background color. Try a really light pink (like the hair) or white because it will stand out from the background better.
If you do that though I'd try to color pick the background and use a low opacity brush to brush over some of the feathers that are behind the text so that the white feathers don't look like the white text. But basically you just want a higher contrast color from the background.
