Rocket Grab at level 5 does 300 base damage. Since the AP modifier is 0.8, the damage easily increases over 500 (just using the 4 items I stated in the build).
Static Field active ability hits for 500 (with an AP mod of 1) and will scale well with AP. The passive counterpart will be doing hits of 300 + (AP * 0.25).
Personally I also see the 15% Magic Pen useful too (even tho it's a lot more useful on an Annie).
And another good thing about taking 9 offensive points is that you'll be able to reduce cooldowns thro masteries.

I actually tested this a few months ago, and that's most definitely not true unless something was changed. If someone has 100 MR (50% dmg reduction) and you lower it to 85, since each point in armor or MR effectively gives +1% hp, you are basically doing +15% damage to their base health. This is still less than +15% to true health, but it is usually a good bit more damage.
What I said is correct. 100MR against 300damage will with 15%MrP will give 12 extra damage. It was a pretty good estimate.

Btw Searz, I read that you don't always vote or comment on builds since you dunno if people can take criticism. It got me wondering if you have anything to say regarding the guide I made... even tho you mentioned about the masteries, you really haven't said anything about the structure etc.

Reworked a bit of the guide and ended up adding an alternative mastery setup. Just noticed it was just like Searz had suggested the 0/9/21 (I did 1/8/21 tho - minus 1 point in armor and plus 1 point in cripple)...

New situation: Started recording games with LoL Replay and planning on editing videos to add to the guide (since some people asked for more images, etc).
My question is, what should I show regarding blitz?
Atm I have in mind:
- How to pull;
- Positioning in teamfights and initiation;

I prefer 9/0/21 for almost any AP damage based build. 15% Magic Pen is just awesome.
It's kinda overestimated. While it's very good for most damage oriented casters it really just increases damage by ~10 (on 250-300dmg spells) against enemies with 100-140MR and even less against those with less.
I don't consider blitz to be a damage oriented caster.
