[/quote] We also have that, germany at least. Normally we say "two thousand eleven" (no "and") But its also "twenty hundred eleven". No real difference after translating it, though + "twenty hundred" sounds somewhat incovient compared to ninteen hundred. In 19xx it was faster to use the "hundred-method", thats why it was used more often back then, I guess.[/quote]
