People beforehand went to MLG officials and reported what they heard the two teams talking about in a restaurant. MLG officials waited for things to play out because there was no proof aside from "they said this" after the ARAM, MLG decided to investigate further and spoke to more people. They believe that they conspired to split the cash prize.
