[/quote] Scarra, WestRice, or Voyboy..? WestRice was the one who made Akali a thing.. :P Malphite is, imho, over rated as a solo, but not bad. Nidalee has her counters and is also over rated as a solo. The difference is, Nidalee naturally beats more champions than Malphite, and when she gets ahead she can stomp. Skarner got buffed and was OP. Olaf got buffed and was OP. There's generally reasons why some champions rise to a certain position. Akali and Irelia are in a strange class where they were OP from release and it took a long time for people to discover it. Alistar as well. Eve is not in that category that you are referring to. Eve had her time of strength, and then got whacked in the face by the nerf bat. The new jungle may have made her CAPABLE of jungling, but unlike Rammus and Maokai who have great kits and are strong, but just sorta didn't fit, her kit is intentionally underpowered. I don't think people are hating on Jv so much as just facepalming. :P Even he has stated that he doesn't think that Eve is a top tier champ, so I think he and I may actually agree. IF she had a faster clear time on her first few runs, and there were more gold in the jungle, I think Eve would potentially be a viable pick. You can do some pretty cool things with a stealther. I think part of the issue lies in that he really enjoys Eve and her playstyle is something he understands, so he feels like she is strong. Being comfortable and skilled with a champion always will make them feel a tier or two higher than other people will think they are.[/quote]

[/quote] I'm talking after dreamhack :P As I recall it was Scarra who used her at IEM, although it could have been Westrice. I was actually talking jungle Malphite. (solo works too) Yes Nid has counters, but a LOT of counters can just be played around as Nid, imho :P I agree that Eve is shit. The only time I ever play her is in 3 v 3 since although her laning is still shit terrible, you can get fed a lot easier thanks to just her pure damage. idk it seemed to me that JV was getting a bunch of people just trashing someone he knows is good :P Just because the majority of people might think someone isn't viable in high elo doesn't mean they can't be played and get to high elo with them :P Xmithie is top 10 in NA and has a [b]91%[/b] win ratio with Jarvan IV. Saruan has a 74% ratio with both EZ and [b]TF[/b]. CruxBonder has a 77% ratio with [b]Sivir[/b]. And he's played 114 games with her. Bloodwater has an 83% ratio with [b]Garen[/b].
