Defenseive tree needs a buff (s3 maseteries)

The tree is quite fine how it is but the final tier masteries are all ****. 1 armor magic res for each champ near you kinda just bad only 5 of each in team fights sure thats 1 point for quite a bit but later on when you acutally get in 5v5's you already have alot of armor and mr as a tank not worth the point. Then there is one that increases bonus armor another meh one only counts bonus and even with alot its not anything. Then 10% reduces dmg from crit not worth it at all since adc usually wont focus you as tank and is not reliable way to reduce dmg.

I just feel for last ones points in tier they should be good but there all quite bad.

Defensive tree is the strongest tree in the current masteries.
With block and whatnot available for the laning phase, and additional reductions being available its just overall great. Anyone can dip into defensive, it depends on your playstyle. It could use some minor adjustments, but it most certainly isn't meant only for tanks.

Your still dont get my point. Tanks down want the masteries are are later in tree the later the mnastery better is suppose to be.

Now it makes more sense.

10% of a 1000 damage crit is 100 damage. That's huge, it extends your potential effective life. The only mastery I don't like in the defensive tree is the Defender mastery because its useless.

Are you serious?

Legendary Armor - 5% bonus armor + mr

Late game, tanks have upwards of 300 armor and 200 MR, that's not counting base stats, that's 230 armor and 150 MR. This mastery alone gives you 11 armor and 7 MR, which is like 400g or more worth of stats.

Reinforced Armor - 10% damage reduction from critical strikes

You get critted for 1k, awesome, this takes off 100 damage. Either that, or (against an ADC with IE) you take 60 damage off from just the crit portion. That's a lot.

ADC doesn't focus you? I guess the other team likes being CCed to hell because I'm Nautilus, or they like fighting with 50% reduced AS because I'm Malphite.

Honor Guard - 3% damage reduction from all sources.

Reduces damage even further, nuff said.

Defender is trash.

Thats still nothing imo its much better to get reduces basic attack dmg and other early game stats. Armor and magic res not as useful as hp since there is alot stuff to get through res now so right now increased % hp one is more useful. Im just going off what i see in most builds i rarely see anything in bottom tier used.

Yeah, because AD carries stand in between the enemy Amumu and the enemy Olaf so that they can have a nice clear shot at the enemy AD carry.
